What Does Listening Section Entail?

IElTS Listening

IELTS Listening test consists four sections, each with ten questions and Audio play approximately 30 minutes and 10 minutes given extra for transfer answer in answer sheet from Listening Question Paper. Ielts Listening has different types of questions.

  1. Candidates hear the recording once only and answer questions as they listen.
  2. Students will receive 10 minutes extra time to transfer their answers from question paper.
  3. Student should use their time effectively and efficiently.
  4. Use a pencil to complete the answer Sheet and avoid writing outside the space for the answer.
  5. Check Spelling, Grammar and the word limit.

How To Prepare For Listening Exam

i. Read the question instructions carefully what has asked in the question actually before listening start.
ii. The listening module of the exam involves listening, reading and writing skills, learn use to them.
iii. Concentrate on the questions one at at time, but be prepared for the next questions. Look ahead if you have time.
iv. Listen to the instructions on the listening audio as well.
v. Practise listening to a wide range of accents.
vi. Learn more synonyms. You will be able to do better.
vii. Familiarizes yourself with the all types of questions
viii. Work on your weak listening section and make it your strong points.
